Mr. Dhaliwal brings a wealth of diverse experience as a businessman and entrepreneur in both the private and public sectors.
In 2002, Prime Minister Jean Chrétien announced the appointment of Herb Dhaliwal, M.P., as Minister of Natural Resources and political minister for British Columbia. First elected to the House of Commons in 1993, Mr. Dhaliwal was appointed to Cabinet in 1997 as Minister of Revenue and in 1999 became Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.
