September 12, 2007 -- New Brunswick, New Jersey – EntchevDotCom (EDC) announced that it was awarded a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) implementation assistance contract by Fairmount Park, Philadelphia’s Park System. EDC will assist Fairmount Park with GIS needs assessment, GIS planning, GIS database design, and GIS implementation.
EntchevDotCom president Atanas was quoted as saying: “We are honored to work with Fairmount Park and the City of Philadelphia. This is a great opportunity for our firm to prove to yet another city agency how our strengths in the GIS arena are a synergistic match to their needs.” He went on to say how success on recent projects with similar scope have continued to strengthen the company’s understanding of how GIS can be successfully implemented in cities of all sizes, if a mindful plan is developed up-front. “Projects such as this are our niche in the market” Atanas reported.
The project is scheduled to commence in the fall of 2007 and be completed by summer 2008.
