Kaushiva will serve a one-year term as an at-large board member for the non-profit educational association.
Originally founded in 1982 as AM/FM International, GITA is a professional association for members using geospatial technology to help operate, maintain and protect infrastructure. The organization provides geospatial solutions in education, information exchange and research on the use and benefits of geospatial information and technology for worldwide communications. He leads Avineon's business intelligence and business process management efforts for the company's growing commercial sector.
