Web-based Geo-Portal for operators of large industrial sites

Muenster, Germany — August 4, 2010 — At INTERGEO 2010 in Cologne, g.on experience is going to present the latest release of its web-based geoportal g.on aimPort, software for the documentation and administration of complex infrastructures.

Especially for operators of industrial plants, office and business sites or airports and harbors it significantly facilitates their internal workflows. Now they can easily keep track of their spatial data (buildings, parcels, etc.) and also of economic information related to individual objects, e.g. tenants, agreements, usage or condition.

User-friendly though highly sophisticated: g.on aimPort

Further advantages of the geoportal are, among others, its modular architecture that facilitates extensions and adaptations as well as the use of standard software like Oracle Spatial. This way, the user is guaranteed investment security and also saves money by avoiding costs for special software.

New version: g.on aimPort 2.0

The latest version 2.0 supports for the first time the Mapviewer release that allows the users e.g. to integrate Google Maps into the GIS module. Also, g.on aimPort 2.0 admits Mozilla Firefox as additional browser. The cascading style sheets (CSS) have been thoroughly revised, which gives g.on aimPort users even more options for easy and individual customizing.
