GeoNav Group Welcomes Charles Killpack as Senior Vice President

Great Falls, MT -- August 9, 2010 -- GeoNav Group International, Inc., a GIS company that specializes in geospatial technology solutions for utilities and the government, has named Charles Killpack Senior Vice President. As Senior Vice President, Killpack will extend the reach of the GeoNav brand, increasing product awareness, forming successful business partner relationships and strengthening customer and industry relations.

“I have always believed that truly valuable content is the bottleneck to the assimilation of GIS Applications into the day-to-day operation of an organization,” says Killpack. “GeoNav has developed a unique and state-of-the-art technology combining terrestrial LiDAR and 360-degree real-time video. This ability to build a library of LiDAR and video will change the way industries collect facility and asset information,” he explained. Killpack joins GeoNav with over 30 years of experience in the geospatial sector. Starting his career as a GIS professor and researcher, Killpack moved on to become the regional manager of ESRI’s Charlotte office, where he created and defined the regional office concept and later served as the general manager and director of worldwide sales for ESRI. In this position, Killpack provided general program development for direct sales, indirect channels, and international distributors. Killpack also led ConAgra’s e-commerce activities as president of E-ConAgra. Most recently, Killpack acted as CEO for Colorado-based XēDAR Inc. and its geospatial companies including Pixxures and Premier Data.

Guner Gardenhire, CEO of GeoNav says, “We spent the last four years developing technology to create much needed content for geospatial users. Chuck brings a wealth of knowledge that is matched by few in the GIS industry. We know our customers will reap the benefits of his contributions to GeoNav.”
