TerraGo GeoPDF® Maps and Imagery Enable GeoMedia Users to Extend the Access and Application of Geospatial Assets
ATLANTA and Las Vegas, Nev. — September 06, 2010 — TerraGo Technologies®, a leading provider of geospatial collaboration solutions and strategic Intergraph partner, will demonstrate its new release of TerraGo Publisher™ for GeoMedia in booth 33 at the Intergraph International Users’ Conference in Las Vegas, Nev., this week.
TerraGo software demonstrations will highlight the capabilities of TerraGo Publisher for GeoMedia, which enables users to create GeoPDF® maps and imagery directly from the GeoMedia print interface. Highly portable and interactive GeoPDF maps and imagery can be easily distributed and used by mobile field personnel to collect and share on-the-ground intelligence. Designed specifically for the GeoMedia user, TerraGo Publisher for GeoMedia extends the access and application of an organization’s geospatial assets across the enterprise by transforming complex maps, imagery and spatial data into compact, interactive, and easy-to-use TerraGo GeoPDF products.
“As strategic partners, TerraGo and Intergraph have been delivering advanced GeoPDF solutions to GeoMedia customers for nearly two years,” said Chris Watson, vice president of marketing and business development for TerraGo. “This new software release enables us to deliver an even more powerful solution by inherently supporting geospatial collaboration from the point of publishing to GeoPDF. This week’s users’ conference is an exciting opportunity for us to talk to our nearly 100 joint customers about our technology innovations and expanding partnership with Intergraph.”
TerraGo will also highlight other solutions, including:
- TerraGo 3D Composer, which creates accessible three-dimensional (3D) GeoPDF maps that present elevation data from sources such as LiDAR to enhance infrastructure and terrain visualization.
- The TerraGo Toolbar, an extension of Adobe® Reader® and Adobe Acrobat® that performs geospatial functions and enables annotations on GeoPDF for effective data collection, sharing among users, and collaboration between GIS experts and mobile personnel.
- TerraGo Mobile, which enables users to access and collaborate with published maps, images, and data on powerful handheld devices.
