PenBay Solutions Showcases In-Vision™ OnePass TS at ASIS 2010

Brunswick, Maine, October 18, 2010 – Further extending their Public Safety solutions offering,  PenBay Solutions LLC (PenBay) unveiled their newest security technology, In-Vision™ OnePass TS, at ASIS 2010 in Dallas Texas.

Developed for total capture of 3D building data, OnePass TS provides an innovative approach to rapid capture of multiple infrastructure datasets. The survey service offers security professionals unparalleled infrastructure data, often used for security assessment, incident pre-planning and tactical response support. The survey technology yields 3D (LiDAR and vector) data for building interiors, spherical imagery and/or video, and other mission critical asset datasets to extend the common operational picture inside the building, all collected in a single pass through the space.

PenBay co-exhibited this year with business partners Esri and Feeling Software to introduce OnePass TS to security professionals worldwide.  As a core business partner, PenBay utilizes Esri’s technology throughout their product and services offering, and uses OnePass to help extend GIS inside buildings for real property and public safety needs. PenBay is also working with innovative platforms like Omnipresence 3D from Feeling Software, which takes the 3D model and visually fuses real time CCTV feeds for optimal intelligence data viewing. These complementary toolsets allow users to join disparate data to help security clients analyze trends and behaviors, providing them with actionable security information.

“The response at ASIS was very positive” said Benton Yetman, Director of Public Safety at PenBay  “Today’s security professionals are looking for accurate 3D models of critical infrastructure, and our OnePass approach gives them that plus total immersive imagery at a fraction of traditional costs.”  Yetman added, “Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen a definite increase in demand for high-resolution facility models. Outdated CAD is often not ‘good enough’ anymore and decision makers, especially those in the security world, are demanding more accurate data.”
