ARLINGTON, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 21, 2010 — BAE Systems has named Jordan Becker to lead its geospatial-intelligence and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (GEOINT-ISR) business, based in San Diego. GEOINT-ISR develops and supports software systems for geospatial analysis, mission planning, precision targeting and command and control for the defense and intelligence community.
Becker joined the company as vice president and general manager on November 29, 2010. He most previously was senior vice president and chief technology officer of the Information Technology and Network Services Group for SAIC. He has led global growth in both government and private sector markets through strategy, investments, technology planning and mergers and acquisitions.
He reports to John Gannon, president of the Intelligence & Security sector.

Becker received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University. He is a recognized Internet pioneer and a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Internet Society.
