Geobeyond to Provide Support for Italian OpenGeo Suite Users

Local experts to deliver enterprise support and custom solutions to the region.

New York, New York, February 11, 2011 - Geobeyond, a geospatial firm located north of Rome in Vacone, Italy and OpenGeo, a global leader in open source geospatial solutions, announced a reseller agreement that will bring the OpenGeo Suite Enterprise Edition to Italy.

The OpenGeo Suite Enterprise Edition's powerful stack of tested, integrated, and supported geospatial components includes PostGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers, GeoWebCache, and GeoExt. The platform is used by organizations worldwide to serve maps and data through web applications, mobile devices, and desktop clients. "We look forward to extending our portfolio and supporting the GIS industry with this vertical solution," commented Francesco Bartoli, CTO of Geobeyond.
