GeoIQ Expands Westward With Denver Office Opening

ARLINGTON, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Mar 22, 2011 -- GeoIQ, the leading provider of location analysis software for managing and analyzing real-time location data, today announced that it has opened an office in Denver, Colorado. Already a proven hot spot for emerging geospatial technology, companies and events, the Denver office will allow GeoIQ to grow its presence to the Western region of the US and continue its leadership in the burgeoning location intelligence industry.

"Our growing commercial business has driven us beyond our government origins in the nation's capital," said Frank Moyer, CEO of GeoIQ. "There's no better place to expand our business than the geo hotbed of Denver."

GeoIQ is based in Arlington, VA, where many of GeoIQ's government customers are located. The Denver office is the second location to be opened by GeoIQ and will be managed by two leaders in the geospace: Andrei Taraschuk, founder of UMapper and Lead of Visualization at GeoIQ; and Christopher Helm, Head of Analytics at GeoIQ. Andrei and Chris will be hosting a Welcome MeetUp on Friday, April 8 to introduce GeoIQ to the Denver business community. Please see the official invite and register to join in here.

GeoIQ enables enterprises, marketers, retailers and public sector organizations to fuse together massive amounts of information, analyze it using location as the common pivot point and clearly identify trends and opportunities for better decision making.

Denver is home to over twenty geospatial organizations and companies such as the Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), among many others. In addition, Denver plays host to WhereCamp5280, FOSS4G 2011, numerous GeoTechMeetUps and OpenStreetMap mapping parties.
