Rome, NY - May 2, 2011. PAR Government Systems Corp. (PGSC) has chosen the 2011 Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Worldwide Conference as the venue to announce the much anticipated release of its Gv2F Core software.
Gv2F Core features a robust C++ and C# API that allows you, the developer, to process MPEG-2 program and transport streams. Gv2F is US DoD MISB compliant for KLV (key-length value) metadata parsing and allows encapsulation of FMV into NITF. Other distinctive attributes include support for Frame Slicing, H.264, Standard and High Definition, Unicast and Multicast Streams, and File Reading. PAR is currently preparing for a summer 2011 release of Gv2F for mobile platforms including Android OS and Apple IOS.
Gv2F is an extensible Software Development Kit (SDK) for Full Motion Video used by software vendors who require FMV readily integrated within their core geospatial product lines.
