Alexandria, VA (June 14, 2005): Avineon, Inc. announced today that Russell Pence has joined their business development team. Mr. Pence will pursue geospatial opportunities with the U.S. federal government.
Mr. Pence joins Avineon with over twenty-six years of experience in geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and surveying. He has a strong operations management background and a successful history in business development. He has participated in projects with the Air Force, NGA Global Geospatial Intelligence Program, NGA Omnibus Program, Thailand Map Recompilation Project, mission definition for the Land Registry System of Russia (LARIS), and other government projects domestically and internationally.
