The event brings together semiconductor industry professionals from around the globe to cultivate and further business partnerships. It provides two days of business education focusing on key topics in the semiconductor sector and one day of supplier exhibition.
The education program offers the newly introduced Supplier Track presentations as well as keynotes and panel discussions. The sessions will help guide fabless, IDM and OEM companies on solutions for selecting partners, how to manage a global supply chain and addressing design for manufacturability. The program also includes the FSA Annual Briefing, highlighting the latest updates on FSA resources, tools and initiatives.
The exhibition portion, taking place on October 6, features a forum for over 100 exhibitors to showcase their products and services and network with executives, managers and engineers from semiconductor companies.
New this year, kiosks will be available for attendees to vote for the Industry's Most Respected Private and Public Fabless Company awards, to be given at the 2005 FSA Awards Dinner Celebration on December 8 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara. In addition, FSA Suppliers Expo attendees will have the opportunity to enter into a drawing to win a "Jamaican Me Crazy" vacation package for two.
"The FSA Suppliers Expo has promoted the expansion of global business partnerships in the semiconductor industry for over a decade. This year's conference structure has been expanded to include a full day of presentations from industry suppliers with six tracks running simultaneously to provide attendees with more in-depth knowledge of the products and services they offer," said Vicki Reece, vice president global event management and marketing for FSA. "With this valuable addition to the program, we look forward to drawing increased attendance from fabless companies within and beyond Silicon Valley."
Platinum sponsors include: ARM, ASE Group, autriamicrosystems, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, CMP Media, Reed Electronics Group, TSMC, UMC and X-FAB Semiconductor Foundries.
