The latest release of Vero’s VISI-Series CAD/CAM solution includes many new and improved features but Vero has also managed to improve both speed and quality within the existing applications.
With release 13 users of VISI-Series, both existing and new, will benefit from increased productivity from faster toolpath creation and improved machining quality with beta test customers quoting increases in productivity of more than 30%
As well as the improvements to the existing routines Vero have introduced a number of new and unique features to the VISI-Series including the parametric management of standard or non standard components and sub assemblies within the mould tool and progressive die assembly as well as the introduction of a history based approach to the design of the complete mould tool.
Other new features within VISI-Series include the increased speed and quality of the rest machining routines, multiple new roughing strategies, arc fitting for toolpath output and point reduction where toolpath sizes are often reduced in size by up to 50%.

There is a completely new addition to the VISI-Series with release 13 for the design of shoes. The application caters for the creation of the soles, insoles, heels as well as the sole mould tool.
Following on from this release, Vero will introduce an updated version of its 5 axis software with new features for additional tool control
