ViryaNet to Demonstrate its Product Service Hub for Utilities at Telvent's Annual User Conference

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Sept. 30, 2005— ViryaNet (NasdaqSC: VRYA), a leading provider of integrated mobile and Web-based software applications for workforce management and field service delivery, will be demonstrating its product, Service Hub for Utilities, at Telvent's upcoming 2005 Users' Group Conference (UGC). The event will be held at the Fairmont Banff Sprint in Banff, Alberta Canada on October 31 through November 2, 2005.

Telvent is a strategic partner and major shareholder of ViryaNet, and the two companies have a long history of cooperation.

The Telvent UGC 2005 Conference will bring together Telvent utility (electric, gas, water) customers, partners, and industry experts from around the world to review accomplishments, share lessons learned, and explore the capabilities and promise of new products and services. The UGC will include three days of workshops, presentations, and live product demonstrations.

This year's event will highlight the complete and comprehensive functionality of the ViryaNet solution, integrated with ArcFM, an enterprise GIS product from Miner & Miner, a subsidiary of Telvent. ViryaNet Service Hub for Utilities is a comprehensive mobile workforce management software product that includes enterprise scheduling and dispatch, field parts logistics, and mobile activity reporting.
