Quakertown, PA, November 10, 2005 – Synergis Technologies® Engineering Design Solutions Division announced today that Peter Gehring, director of Building & Infrastructure Solutions, was invited to speak to Construction Management students at Drexel University in Philadelphia on November 10. Gehring will discuss the construction phase activities supported by Autodesk® products and drawing management processes. Autodesk software solutions are valuable tools that these students will encounter in their professional careers. Learning to use these solutions will help them better prepare for professional life. Gehring will demonstrate several solutions used in Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) businesses today including AutoCAD, Autodesk Architectural Desktop, Autodesk Building Systems, Autodesk Buzzsaw, Autodesk Revit Building, Autodesk DWF Composer and Autodesk DWF Viewer.

“I am excited about Peter’s presentation to our class. Synergis is a specialist in Autodesk product solutions, and I think our students will benefit greatly from being exposed early to the design automation tools and how they are used in practice. We are committed to preparing students with knowledge of the solutions they will use in their careers and we appreciate Synergis’ willingness to support our efforts,” said Douglas Carney, AIA member and Assistant Professor at Drexel University.
