GeoTel Communications Appoints CMC International to be its Exclusive Distributor

Orlando, FL. October 23, 2006 GeoTel Communications, Inc. a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure datasets announced that is has chosen CMC International to become its exclusive distributor for all of its products and services effective November 1, 2006.

CMC International will be the exclusive distributor for the entire line of GeoTel telecommunications infrastructure datasets. This includes the industry leading GeoTel MetroFiber and GeoTel Connect product lines.

The GeoTel MetroFiber dataset contains metro fiber routes for cities in the United States and can be layered on street files for enhanced study. Over 285 carriers in more than 220 MSAs are included with additional markets added semi-annually.

The Geotel Connect dataset which is often referred to as fiber "lit" buildings, shows which carriers have a fiber presence or have optical switches connected to a fiber loop inside a building. The product delivers over 80,000 fiber lit buildings in US Markets and has 12 attributes per building.
