STHENO/PRO's new colour raster module, as well as AutoCAD® 2007 DWG support, make it even easier to integrate 2D supplier data and legacy images into the Pro/ENGINEER® PLM environment
Moers, Germany – 14th November 2006: CAD Schroer Group (CSG), the global engineering solutions provider and PTC® gold tier software partner, today announced the release of version 2.2 of STHENO/PRO, the powerful drafting plug-in for Pro/ENGINEER®. The software supports the latest version of Pro/ENGINEER (Wildfire 3.0) and offers full support for the DWG format up to AutoCAD 2007.
"The key words to describe the latest release include integration, flexibility and usability," explains STHENO/PRO Product Manager Mark Simpson. "In addition to some great extensions to our ground-breaking SMART Edit tool, our customers will be especially pleased to see that we now offer a raster product with full colour support - an even better way to integrate legacy drawings and other images into their Pro/ENGINEER world with the help of STHENO/PRO."
STHENO/PRO is the ONLY legacy data management and drafting package fully integrated with Pro/ENGINEER, Pro/INTRALINK® and Windchill PDMLink. STHENO/PRO replaces the need for a 3-tier (Pro/E – 2D – paper) approach, working hand-in-glove with Pro/DETAIL, offering seamless, bi-directional data exchange, and the incorporation, editing and maintenance of raster data. It allows for the quick and easy creation of things like 2D concepts, layouts and tender designs, as well as 2D adaptations of Pro/DETAIL® sheets for product designs, technical manuals, and installation designs.
What's New in STHENO/PRO Version 2.2?
- Support for AutoCAD® 2007
- Support for Pro/ENGINEER® Wildfire 3.0
- New STHENO/IMAGE COLOUR module for full colour raster support
- SMART Edit now with non-orthogonal geometry support
- New sheet and symbol preview functionality
- New User Attribute Manager
