Allen Hines Named President of Choctaw Geo Imaging, and Tom Lenzen Becomes President of Applied Geo Technologies, Inc.

May 29, 2002 - Choctaw, Mississippi – USA) The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI) has named Allen Hines as its new President of Choctaw Geo Imaging (CGI), and Tom Lenzen as President of the newly launched corporation, Applied Geo Technologies (AGT). The appointments follow an aggressive period of growth for CGI, since opening its national geospatial and image processing center last November.

Allen Hines was promoted internally from the Director of Operations position. Hines joined CGI in November 2001, following senior business development posts at LAND INFO International and ISSI Consulting / Spatial Technologies. CGI’s former President, Tom Lenzen, vacated the position to launch a new chartered corporation, AGT.

AGT provides comprehensive professional engineering services to the U.S. Federal Government, in both Department of Defense and non-defense capacities. Choctaw Geo Imaging is the sole shareholder for AGT, which is designated as a Native American Small Disadvantaged Owned Business. Lenzen brings over 20 years of strategic planning, data production, and marketing experience with the Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center (now known as NIMA), TruVue, TRIFID and Plangraphics. For more information about AGT, please contact Rhett Reid at (847) 844-1785.

CGI operates under the broad business umbrella of MBCI, as one of many enterprise operations under the Choctaw tribe throughout the United States and Mexico. The enterprise is a technology integrator providing digital mapping services and products to tribal, state, and local governments, commercial companies, and outdoor recreational professionals. CGI offers digital satellite & aerial imagery, topographic maps, conversion & digitizing, ground control data, custom map production, feature extraction services, and specialized software solutions.
