Award Recognizes Entrepreneurial Excellence in Communications Category

DULLES, Va., June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GeoEye, a leading producer of satellite, aerial and geospatial information (NASDAQ: GEOY), today announced that Matthew O'Connell, President & CEO, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year(R) 2007 Award for the Communications category in Greater Washington D.C. The Ernst & Young award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Mr. O'Connell was selected by an independent panel of judges and the award was presented at an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year gala event at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia on June 21, 2007.
