MultiVision USA to Exhibit Oblique Imaging Technology at IAAO Conference

ORLANDO, Fla., 10 September 2007 – MultiVision USA, a provider of high-resolution oblique imagery and 3D viewing software, will demonstrate its latest oblique aerial technology for use in property assessment at the 73rd Annual Conference of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) on September 9-12, 2007. The show will be held at the Atlanta, Georgia, Marriott Marquis.

“MultiVision USA is eager to demonstrate the latest enhancements to our oblique imaging and viewing technology,” said Dave Ledgerwood, President of MultiVision USA. “More and more of our clients in the property appraisal and assessment profession are realizing that MultiVision technology provides tools that enable them to complete their jobs faster and more accurately.”

MultiVision USA representatives will be on hand to discuss the advanced capabilities and ease-of-use that oblique technology brings to the field of property assessment. Specifically, MultiVision USA personnel will provide insights into the applications of oblique viewing technology a number of agencies, including Metropolitan Kansas City, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and a variety of communities in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Kansas and Missouri.

Using MultiVision’s high-resolution oblique aerial imagery, assessors have quick access to visual information of all properties within a jurisdiction. MultiVision helps assessors make critical decisions right from their desktop PC or laptop. The software can display and measure vertical and horizontal objects, sites, building facades, even areas such as windows and doorways, all from various angles or directions. This system also enables instant creation of 3D models.

Users can view imagery from multiple viewpoints, measure many features, and retrieve spatial or GIS information on demand for an area of interest. With MultiVision, a user can view a city or downtown area, a neighborhood or community, a network of roads, interchanges, or bridges, and then measure an area of interest and build separate files for additional analysis and use.

MultiVision is the first integrated oblique imagery and 3D viewing solution designed for use by multiple departments within city and county governments. MultiVision USA’s advanced 3D functionality, imagery, and GIS layers empower users with a superior method for analysis and decision making.

A major factor in the success of MultiVision technology is that it enables users to view infrastructure in true 3D and run simulation analyses, like floods and storm surges, in their GIS environment without third-party vendors or expensive add-on modules. In less than a year, this solution has become a favorite oblique viewing tool in Property Appraisal, Public Safety and Public Works applications.

About MultiVision USA

The MultiVision imagery database and software provide several advantages over other oblique aerial products. MultiVision processing technology registers the oblique images to standard orthophotography to create a multi-dimensional viewing environment in the end user’s GIS coordinate system, resulting in highly accurate feature mapping and measurement. In addition, the MultiVision software provides easy-to-use 3D modeling functionality. With MultiVision USA, you are always in control of your imagery. Contact Dave Ledgerwood at 407-367-0883.
