CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, USA - Axiom, the world's most experienced developer of time-saving MicroStation software solutions, announces the expansion of their custom programming department.
"We have found that there are a lot of MicroStation users that have very specific needs that MicroStation just doesn't address," says Axiom President Ed Clark. "For example, we were recently contracted to develop tools for the world's largest oil producer. They wanted us to design and develop a customized utility that would do some very exact reformatting of their design files to comply to their CAD standards. It's really a lot trickier than it sounds because the standards violations were quite different from design file to design file. We had to account for just about every standards violation possible.
"Axiom's specialty is creating tools to help MicroStation work better. For over 20 years, companies and government agencies have been asking us to solve specific problems, unique to their situation. We have decided to expand our support for such specialized software."
Often the custom programs can be quickly built using tools from Axiom's function library. The function library allows Axiom to build applications using preassembled, pretested components. The same functions that compose Axiom's acclaimed commercial products can be used to build custom applications to solve a myriad of problems. A single function from the vast function library can save hundreds of hours of programming time. This keeps costs down and results in error-free code. Custom programming clients benefit from hundreds of thousands of programming hours at no additional charge.
