Spiegleman Joins GeoSpatial Experts Sales Team

THORNTON, Colorado, USA, 2 April 2008 – GeoSpatial Experts is pleased to announce that Ralph Spiegleman, a 35-year veteran of the surveying and mapping industry, has been hired as the company’s new Customer Relationship Manager.

“Ralph is an excellent addition to our sales and customer support team because he has a wealth of experience in surveying and mapping,” said Rick Bobbitt, President of GeoSpatial Experts. “His unparalleled background includes expertise in both the technical and sales aspects of our industry.”

As Customer Relationship Manager, Spiegleman will provide technical support by handling incoming queries from customers. In addition, he will assume many of the daily sales management activities aimed at increasing the market share of GeoSpatial Experts GPS-Photo Link photo mapping software. Spiegleman has also been tasked with supporting and expanding the company’s dealer network with a special emphasis on finding new vertical markets for the software.

Mr. Spiegleman may be reached at 303-255-2908 x305 or Email Contact.

Prior to joining GeoSpatial Experts in mid-March, Spiegleman owned Survey Solutions Inc. in Denver for 15 years. In this capacity, he sold a variety of surveying and mapping hardware and software products as a reseller for Magellan, Garmin, Pentax and several other large geospatial companies. In earlier positions, Spiegleman has sold, marketed and supported a wide variety of high-tech surveying products.

“GeoSpatial Experts is an exciting firm to join right now because there are so many vertical markets we can serve with our GPS-Photo Link software and related products,” said Spiegleman.

GPS-Photo Link is a digital photo mapping software package. It automatically links digital photographic images with GPS location data and then accurately maps the photographs in their correct georeferenced locations on a GIS layer. In addition, GPS-Photo Link creates web pages in which the watermarked photographs are integrated with satellite imagery, street maps, or other GIS-based mapping layer. The software enables users to display their photo locations as icons in a Google Earth map layer and add arrows indicating the directions in which the photos were taken.
