Use of NAVTEQ(R) Map Data in Oracle Applications Continues to Grow

CHICAGO, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, is featuring a variety of Oracle customer applications powered by NAVTEQ map data at Oracle OpenWorld 2008 in San Francisco, CA, September 21-25, 2008.

As the premier supplier of map content on the Oracle platform, NAVTEQ has been providing fresh, accurate and comprehensive map content for Oracle customers since 2002. NAVTEQ maps and data meet the mapping and location analysis requirements of applications such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Field Service, Oracle Utilities, Oracle Communications, Oracle Content Management, JDeveloper, Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer, Oracle Location Services, and Oracle Spatial.

Solution demonstrations by NAVTEQ customers will be delivered during exhibit hours in NAVTEQ booth 2610 on Tuesday, September 23 through Wednesday, September 24, 2008. The presentations will focus on the use of location content within Oracle applications to drive more informed business decisions, effective operations management and improved customer service.

In addition to the customer presentations, NAVTEQ's Business Development Manager for Oracle Enterprise Location Solutions, Dan Abugov, will deliver a presentation titled, "Creating a Global Seamless Data Set for Mapping and Geocoding with Oracle 11g" on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. in Moscone South, Room 236.

KOREM will be showcasing geospatial and business intelligence applications targeted at the communications and location services markets. KOREM specializes in the development and deployment of web mapping solutions and location services that focus on infrastructure management, locating points of service, target marketing, route optimization and GPS tracking.
