Boeing Licensed Transportation’s (LT’s) private fleet provides drivers and various transportation vehicles to move people and freight in support of airplane production and deliveries in the Puget Sound region, including Spokane, Wash., Portland, Ore., and special out-of-state requests. For the movement of freight, LT provides semi-truck/trailers, air-ride box trucks, and other vehicles for large and small freight, special freight, priority mail, small parcel delivery, and other transportation needs. For the movement of people, LT passenger service provides buses, vans, limousines, and other vehicle assets.
GeoDecisions is partnering with DDS eFleet Services LP, Data Based Systems International, Inc. (DBSI), Advanced Mobile Group (AMG), and Esri® to provide a comprehensive Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) and route optimization package that enables greater efficiency, productivity, and decision making capabilities for the Boeing supply chain. The solution will be provided using a “Sofware-as-a-Service” (SaaS) model that features a fleet tracking module and dispatching interface. Ultimately, the service will provide Boeing with route optimization and fleet diagnostics for efficient planning and movement of both freight and passengers throughout the Boeing enterprise.
