Theorem Showcases Its New 2 Into 1 CADverter

29 September 2006, 2 into CADverter developed specifically for UGNX users will be the centrepiece of Theorem Solutions presentation of advanced data translation technology at the forthcoming PLM Europe conference - to be held in Frankfurt between 9th-11th October.

The new Theorem CADVerter addresses the need to maintain collaboration and interoperability throughout extended or complex automotive and aerospace projects as the balance of installed systems slowly changes. Increasingly, UGNX users within the supply chain are required to work with both CATIA V4 and V5 files - in some cases, from the same business partner.

Until recently, this necessitated the use of individual uni- or bi-directional data translators to accommodate the different CATIA formats. Now, Theorem has combined these capabilities in a single CATIA to UGNX CADverter.

As a result, UGNX users will not only be able to take advantage of the convenience of just a single application and one licence to manage, but also the significant initial and recurring cost savings of the new
2 into 1 translator in comparison with two separate products.
