Esri’s ArcGIS Online can transform ArcGIS for Server web services into maps, apps, and other GIS resources that will be easy to find, work with, and share.

To get started using these complementary technologies, tune in to Increase the Value of ArcGIS Services with ArcGIS Online. This free, live training seminar will air on April 25, 2013.

The presenters will demonstrate how, using an ArcGIS Online organizational account, your ArcGIS for Server web services can be made available in an intuitive, collaborative workspace. Employees who rarely or never work with GIS will find these products simple to locate in ArcGIS Online and work with on the web, in desktop clients, or on mobile devices.

After viewing this seminar, you will understand how to do the following:

  • Register your ArcGIS for Server web services with ArcGIS Online
  • Use an ArcGIS Online organizational account to make your GIS web services more accessible for end users
  • Use the ArcGIS Online map viewer to create web maps and apps

The seminar will be useful for GIS managers and analysts who want to learn how to use ArcGIS for Server and ArcGIS Online together to produce and share maps and other geospatial information products to a wide audience of users.

You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Global Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Global Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address.
