INPHO launches OrthoVista 4.2

October 27, 2006 -- OrthoVista is the premier software for fully automated color balancing and mosaicking of geo-referenced image blocks. The new OrthoVista 4.2 provides a number of new features for optimizing quality, speed and productivity.

Multi-band imagery, including the 4-band images from digital aerial sensors, can now be processed in one run, and different band combinations (e.g. RGB and CIR) can be generated in parallel.

The enhanced global tilting adjustment improves the radiometric quality by adding more brilliance on mosaics, especially in projects having images with brighter tone in the north or east portions as compared to the south or west portions.

OrthoVista 4.2 offers a significant gain in processing speed; it is on the average 33% faster than the previous version.
