ESRI announced the 2005 release of Community Coder 9.1, its fast, user-friendly geocoder. This customer profiling and data appending software assigns detailed information and location data to customer records, either individually or in batch mode. Companies, agencies, and organizations can use Community Coder to develop an accurate picture of current customers and prospects.
MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., a provider of realtime 3D visual simulation software solutions, announced acceptance of a custom open database and imagery generator system by Northrop Grumman Corporation. The distributed simulation system will be used for engineering prototyping and evaluation, training, mission rehearsal and after action review at Northrop Grumman's Cyber Warfare Integration Network (CWIN) facility in San Diego, California.
In direct response to the rapid growth in Munsys sales in the west, Open Spatial Inc. has established a west coast operations center led by Colin Hobson.
Colin is a well known GIS professional with over 15 years of experience and an extensive background in GIS, CADD and database technology, software and customer applications. Hobson, who has previously taught GIS using ESRI products and more recently spent 8 years with Autodesk in the ISD (GIS) division will take a lead role in Munsys implementations and will actively support Open Spatial's customers and partners.
