Last April 2007 Aerodata Int. Surveys successfully used the extremely fine weather period for the acquisition of nationwide digital aerial imagery over 3 countries: The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg (also known as the Benelux). An area of 80.000 sq km was digitally captured in a period of just 4 weeks, thereby creating a unique time document of the above countries.


This aerial photography is presently being merged into one very large image database both in color (RGB) and color infrared (NIR) at 40 cm GSD (ground sample distance).
