NC4 Inc., provider of Situational Readiness solutions, announced the general availability of its revolutionary incident management system, R9. The capabilities within R9 far surpass prior E Team generations and outperform the competitors' crisis management applications. NC4 has dedicated over two years of research, development, testing and customer involvement to its R9 release, to bring users even more sophisticated incident management functionality, while keeping the application flexible and easy to use. The R9 framework enables organizations to use as little or as much of the system's robust capabilities as needed, and with its new Custom Forms feature, organizations
can easily tailor R9 to meet their needs. R9 is the only incident management solution available in the market that gives organizations an easy-to-customize solution in a COTS product.

Apple previewed its iPhone OS 4 software and released a beta version of the software to iPhone Developer Program members. The iPhone OS 4 beta release includes an updated Software Development Kit (SDK) with over 1,500 new Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and over 100 new features that will be available to iPhone and iPod touch users this summer. New features include Multitasking for third party apps; Folders to better organize and access apps; improved Mail with a unified inbox, fast inbox switching and threaded messages; enhanced Enterprise support with even better data protection, mobile device management, wireless app distribution and more; Apple's new iAd
mobile advertising platform; and iBooks, the delightful new ebook reader and online bookstore recently debuted on the iPad.

AAM introduces hosted imagery and spatial tools for major urban areas of Australia and New Zealand. Pictometry Online is 'software and data' as a service, which can be used to view your project site from any angle, providing new capabilities for confirmation of property value and site assessment that includes accurate measurements, all from your desktop.

Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. announced that it will soon include synthetic vision in the G300 and G3X, the avionic platforms for Cessna's Skycatcher and other experimental and light sport aircraft (LSA), respectively. The G300 and G3X's synthetic vision, SVX, is specifically for experimental and light sport aircraft. SVX will be included with newly purchased G300 and G3X systems, and will be available for download for those who are already flying with the avionics.

Trimble introduced an innovative Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference receiver for infrastructure, precise scientific and network applications -- the Trimble NetR9 GNSS reference receiver. The new Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) receiver can support the most demanding applications for the earth science community and for the surveying, construction, mapping and agricultural industries. The NetR9 was designed to provide the user with maximum features and functionality from a single receiver.

uismedia announces the release of a new version of
Mappetizer for ArcGIS;, the company's easy-to-use ArcMap extension for SVG and Silverlight web mapping solutions.

The new version 8.2 provides new functionalities including enhancements in printing. The Silverlight capabilities are expanded and OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia support is implemented. With Mappetizer 8 you can export your ArcMap project into the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) or into the Microsoft Silverlight format.

Leica FCMS Flight and Sensor Control Management System Version 3.22 now also supports the new WDM65 Full Waveform Digitizer for Leica ALS60 and Leica ALS50-II systems, allowing highly automated LIDAR waveform data collection during the flight.

HP bolstered the HP LaserJet Pro printer line with a new ”plug and print” technology that allows customers to begin printing in as little as two minutes by simply connecting a netbook, notebook or desktop PC to the printer with a USB cable - no CD required.

New monochrome printers featuring HP Smart Install include the HP LaserJet Pro P1100 Printer series - the most energy-efficient laser printer on the planet(1) - the HP LaserJet Pro M1130/M1210 Multifunction Printer (MFP) series and the HP LaserJet Pro P1566/P1606dn Printer series.
