Trimble announced  that it will demonstrate how its new cloud-based field service solution—Trimble GeoManager WorkManagement—integrates with Microsoft Dynamics CRM at Microsoft Convergence 2011.

Trimble WorkManagement is a software solution that provides on-demand visibility into vehicle and mobile worker utilization for routing, scheduling and dispatch. Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides customer information that helps enable confident business decision-making. The optional Web Services component of WorkManagement provides an open environment for Microsoft developers and value-added resellers (VARs) to create extensible applications using Trimble WorkManagement and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Trimble released new versions of AllSport GPS, its popular fitness apps for smartphones running Google Android. The new Android apps—AllSport GPS Free and AllSport GPS Pro—feature an exciting new design to track workouts, collect more than 20 fitness stats and calculate calories burned to help people reach their fitness goals. In addition, consumers can see real-time weather forecasts, chart their workouts over time, and view street and park maps. The new AllSport GPS Pro app also allows consumers to capture photos and video and create custom training programs.

ThinkGeo has released version 6.0 of Cygnus Track, the next major revision of its professional GPS tracking software platform. Cygnus Track 6.0 is a major upgrade that offers a completely redesigned back-end communications system, vastly enhanced customization and developer support, and a new track-for-free model, making Cygnus Track more accessible to both small users and enterprise-grade users alike.

Pictometry Online™, a web-based technology offering a vast library of 3-D-like, high resolution aerial images, now provides Property Hazard Reports to help insurance professionals quickly and accurately identify potential risks relative to a property or structure.

Urban Mapping, Inc (UMI) announced updates to the company's market leading
Neighborhoods database, which now includes nearly 110,000 neighborhoods in over 3,500 cities across the United States, Canada, and Europe and now Latin America and Australia. The update includes neighborhood listings and welcome mats for these new international cities: Nantes, France; Geneva, Switzerland; Melbourne, Australia and Mexico City, Mexico. These updates are all a result of UMI's own local research and verified customer feedback.

TomTom Business Solutions, unveiled a new navigation solution for the North American market designed to help businesses improve their productivity. The PRO 9150 is a portable fleet management solution that requires no installation and can be moved easily among vehicles in a fleet. With improved route guidance and real-time traffic updates with TomTom HD Traffic, the PRO 9150 will help drivers save time on the road.

TomTom announced the new GO Series is now available for purchase in the United States. The new models, announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, include the GO 2535 M LIVE (formerly named the GO 2505 M LIVE) and the GO 2435 and 2535, which are enhanced versions of the popular GO 2405 and 2505.

Mapbiquity.com added support for mobile devices to provide a better user experience. Web maps created using Mapbiquity now dynamically adjust based on the client using the map. Traditional web browsers still show the original interactive maps. However, when users view a Mapbiquity generated web map from a mobile device they will now see a layout and functionality specifically targeted toward mobile devices, particularly touch screen devices.
