Autodesk User Group InternationalSome 40,000 members strong, AUGI represents the voice of Autodesk product users. People just like you, who use Autodesk products every day. AUGI serves its members by presenting programs and information that will enhance their use of Autodesk products. In addition, AUGI delivers the voice of the user community to Autodesk, thus assisting Autodesk in product development and giving users a say in the process.1
Autodesk User Group InternationalAUGI is the Autodesk User Group International, officially recognized by Autodesk as representing the Autodesk user community. AUGI has two prime directives. The first is to assist its members by presenting programs and information that will enhance their use of Autodesk products. The second is to deliver the voice of the user community to Autodesk, thus assisting Autodesk in product development and giving users a say in the process.0
AvisMap GIS EngineAvisMap GIS Engine is a comprehensive SDK for the development of custom GIS applications and solutions. This SDK provides several ActiveX (OCX) controls which support Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, Visual C++ and other ActiveX compatible programming languages, with Microsoft Visual Studio versions 6, 2003, 2005, and Express. Supports .NET via COM.6
Charlotte-Metropolitan GIS User GroupThe primary purpose of the Charlotte-Metropolitan GIS User Group will be to educate and discover ways to improve GIS technology. The GIS User Group will help to encourage development of leadership roles, growth in GIS capabilities, promote employee succession and encourage further responsibilities. The GIS User Group has a goal to strengthen partnerships and create more areas of collaboration. The GIS User Group will have the authority to put together and market recommendations to other existing GIS leadership teams. Two events are held annually.11

For several years, a number of local GIS groups in Central Florida have been meeting with positive results.0
GISMOGISMO is New York Metropolitan Area's largest GIS users group, with over 400 members from city, state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations and the private sector. GISMO meetings are held every six weeks at the Fund for the City of New York, 121 Sixth Avenue, Sixth Floor.2

Midwest/Great Lakes Arc UsersThe Illinois State Geological Survey (ISGS) is part of the Institute of Natural Resource Sustainability at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Survey is located in the Natural Resources Building on the University's 700-acre campus. This central Illinois location (map and driving directions) is just 130 miles south of Chicago.
