Hi!
I'm relatively new in remote sending and hope that someone can help me with the follwing: I'm using Landsat 5 TM Level 1T data. On the USGS page I learned, that this means the following :"Level T1 provides systematic radiometric and geometric accuracy by incorporating ground control points while employing a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for topographic accuracy. Geodetic accuracy of the product depends on the accuracy of the ground control points and the resolution of the DEM used."
From the metadata I know that GLS2000 was used for the ground control points.
I have a old map (1:200000) and the satellite image doesn't fit perfectly on it. Now I need to know the accuracy of the satellite image to decide which one is more accurate and can be used as a reference. So my question is, what is the real accuracy of the landsat scene?
