fGIS scale problem Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

I had another question about fGIS: I have an aerial photo that is the exact scale, but the x,y coordinates in fGIS don't seem to relate to anything.  When I make a shapefile on top of that raster it has the right scale and all in relation to area and distances, but it won't load into Apex (john deere's simple gis tool for farmers).  I can take a file and export it out of Apex as a shapefile, but when I load it into fGIS the scale is all wrong: what should be 1/2 mile measures out to be around .02 feet.  The x,y scale at the bottom of fGIS is Decimal Degrees and accurate with this shapefile, and when I make a point shapefile on top of this polygon I exported from Apex it will load correctly into Apex and everything will work well.  However I need this Aerial photo or an Aerial photo to corrilate with the other data and I need to be able to measure distances in fGSI.  Please Help!  thanks
