Dear all

Let me know how I can draw/extract polygons from an aspect map to make a slope-facet map. Does any one know a tool/command in GIS?

If you've got Arc/Info, GRIDPOLY should work for you.   You might have to RECLASS your data if there is a large degree of marbling -- if your aspects are in degrees, then reclass to 23-67; 68-112; 113-147; 148-202; 203-247; 248-292; 293-337; then put 338-360 and 1-22 in the northern aspect.
