Hello all
Many times I got confuse about hectares and the pixel size. 


my confuse is how many MODIS pixels of 250 m spatial resolution are containing in one hectare.


or how many hectares are containing one MODIS pixel of 250 m spatial resolution??


 


any help please.

Hi. I actually think I can help you here:

1 modis pixel is 250m x 250m = 62.500 m2

1 hectare (ha) is 100m x 100m = 10.000 m2

It follows that 1 modis pixel contains 6.25 ha.
