ArcMap Ortho Imagery Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

I have been trying to use the ortho feature in ArcGIS 9.3 and was wondering if anyone found a way to ortho an IMG. The base image I am working with is a NITF, but I do not have the NITF for Arc extension, still working on getting permission to install it.

In ERDAS I was able to pull the RPC file out and I converted the NITF to an IMG so I could bring it into Arc. My question is can I still perform the Ortho function in Arc? With the IMG imagery file the option is grayed out, I have my DEM loaded, but is there a way to load the RPC?

Just ortho-correct it in ERDAS IMAGINE using the RPC and be done with it.
