Help is needed please...

Completed Task.

Topographical features, especially that of buildings, have been extracted from LIDAR data, with the

LIDAR data being the sole data source. The features were extracted using a developed system called

'TOFEXS', Topographical Feature EXtraction System.

A Possible Solution.

A solution is now needed which will evalute the extracted topographical features which are stored in

vector form against a recognised industry standard vector data containing corresponding topographical

features. Ideas include creating signatures using geometric descriptors for each of the corresponding

features. Geometric desriptors include:

Area
Line length
Minimum Bounding Rectangle dimensions
Anchor Line length
Bandwidth
Segmentation
Error variance
Concurrence
Sinuosity Ratio
Average Angular Change
Curvilinearity
Average Separation of Successive Vertices
Polygonal Area
Perimeter/area ratio, compactness, eccentricity, elongatedness, and central radial parameters

I would be thoroughly grateful for any ideas or help on this evalution part, including the use of

signatures/geometric descriptors, or any other (maybe easier solution) that might exist.
