How I can isolate the vegetative cover using Erdas new Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi All,

I am trying to isolate the vegetative cover from the NDVI image which extracted using Landsat TM image . So, could you please let me know how I can do it in Erdas. In ER Mapper I have to write the following formula to perform the vegetative cover separation:

If input1>0 then input1 else null

So, could you please tell me what is the syntax and how to write that formula in Erdas, and then how I can export the isolated vegetative cover to ArcGIS with its float values.

Thanks a lot.

hi, have you tried using erdas 9.3? it's able to compute and extract the NDVI layer automatically.
