Using ERDAS to detect Urban Change Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Any input would be appreciated. I'm a graduate student working on an urban change detection project. I'm using ERDAS Imagine to register a Landsat TM image to a Landsat ETM+ image. The TM is in UTM/GRS 1980 and the ETM+ is in UTM/WGS 84. I've collected over 40 GCPs but couldn't get them to line up, so then I received a suggestion to try using less than 10. That did improve the registration, but the images still don't line up perfectly. I'm using a first order polynomial to resample the image, but I'm not having any luck.... any ideas?
