Software Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

For the past few years I've been looking for a "Find-the-Nearest" application to run on my server, which would allow site visitors to find companies listed in our site's business directory, using a radius search. For example, to locate all Private Investigators within a 50 mile radius of Atlanta.

The closest solution that I came across was Routemap; however, my database is updated daily, and RouteMap would not run dynamically with the database.

Can someone recommend a solution for this that would be priced under $5,000? Hopefully, well under...

Thanks

There are a number of "find-the-nearest" applications mentioned in this article on Geocoding Data--http://www.giscafe.com/GISVision/Review/Geocoding_Data.html Hopefully one of them will meet your needs.

Check out http://www.manifold.net

They offer a great GIS application, for $245.00!

According to users, it beats ArcInfo, MapView etc. easily.
I noticed that there are functions for nearest, adjacent.

Do check it out....
