GIS community in London, UK new Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Are you a GIS professional or contractor within an organisation? Do you regularly use geographic information in your job? Are you a student or are you looking for work in this area?

Would you like to meet other people who work in the same industry in an informal setting?

I am interested in setting up a group so that we can network, socialise and share information.

This is just an idea, so get back to me if you are interested and if there are enough people I will organise a place for us all to meet. No agencies allowed!

Also, if you know of a similar group that already exists, please let me know.

Hi,

Sounds like a good idea.

I am currently working for the Government promoting GI use, providing advice for a number of projects, and support to GI Users across the UK. My job allows me to attend numerous GIS exhibitions, discussions, and events, to keep abreast of developments in the GIS world.

If you do decide to get a group together and you feel I have something to contribute then I'll be happy to attend.
