Use and grow the knowledge you’ve gained during your studies by helping us to keep enhancing the way we work. Using a wide range of analytical tools and techniques, your work will influence supply chain management and initiate technical and operational improvements across our operations. This will involve work flow analysis, operational research and comparing a variety of options to provide recommendations for improving the efficiency of our data capture activity.
Liaising with colleagues across the business, you’ll build your knowledge of Ordnance Survey products and data. You’ll develop a broad understanding of data capture systems, using predictive modelling techniques and logistics planning to improve work scheduling and end-to-end production processes. And, as well as growing your specialist expertise, you’ll gain project management experience too, as you work to support a variety of data collection and surveying activities.
Along with a relevant degree, you’ll need a good knowledge of operations management tools and techniques. With good communication and analytical skills, you should be able to obtain, analyse and report on data – presenting concise and accurate information both verbally and in writing.
