Positinal Accuracy Of Parcel Data new Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi, Alls
I have been given a task to write the methdology to assess the positional accuracy of the Parcels that my office maintains.
these parcels were originally digitized from Aerial photographs late in 1996, and laterly they are updated using IKONOS grey scale images.

I searched the different sources and found FGDC's NSSDA could be a good way to assess the accuracy. I have applied it as a pilot project in one of the districts of the city.

my question is that if any body have the experience of implementing the NSSDA or any other standard. we can share the experiences and some questions about this?
any help regarding this will highly be appreciated..
if any company in the Middle East has such experience they can also approach us for this project.

regards

Qaisar:
Did you ever resolve your problem? I have used the NSSDA standard for accuracy reporting. It is a time consuming process, but worth the effort to be able to create good Metadata. Let me know.
