Options for someone with only an AA degree... Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

My question is about certificate programs without a bachelor's degree. I'm working on a 2 year IT certificate program (AA degree) and want to incorporate some GIS into it or get a GIS certificate of some kind but I'm not looking for a master's program. Are there any options out there for a AA like degree in GIS or a GIS certificate for people with only an AA degree? I see that ESRI gives certificates for completing a certain number of hours of their courses. Does anyone have opinions on their value in the job market?

Thanks for any help!!Smile

There are several Geospatial Technology programs at community colleges in NC:

Some online courses here that you don't need a BS for as a pre-requisite:
