Converting s57 format (*.000) to GIS/CAD format Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi everyone.

I hope I'm posting in the right section.

For my Ph.D projet, I'm trying to make a 3D model (usable in a CAD environement) of a river.  The goal of my research is to create a hydrodynamic model for the particular transport in a high turbulent river.

I got s57 maps from my university, and I'm able to visualize them into CARIS Easy view.  What I'm trying to do now, is to create a 3D terrain from it, so I can mesh it in a CAD software.

My question is the follwing : is there any utility that can convert S57 files into a GIS/CAD format ?

Best regards and thank for any suggestion.
