As a keen XC MTB rider, I also use my smartphone to track and compare my performances on my courses and had thought this concept of a central site to access track/location info a good one.
As the founder of a GIS consultancy in Tassie (Esk Mapping & GIS), we now have a job supplying all the GIS services to National Parks for a major track management strategy in Launceston. Seeking to expand this sort of work, we would be keen to participate in data provision (STA) if this gets up!
In the meantime, I'll keep building my own geodatabase...!
