Des Plaines, IL -- (November 29, 2012) -- URISA’s Vanguard Cabinet (VC) is an advisory board made up of GIS professionals (35 years of age or younger) who represent the young membership of the organization. In advance of the 2013 VC application deadline on December 17, the current Vanguard Cabinet will be hosting a free informational webinar on Tuesday, December 11 at 3:00 PM Eastern and also a Google+ hangout on Wednesday, December 12 at 8:00 PM Eastern to introduce themselves, their mission, and what they are striving to accomplish within URISA.  Whether you are a ‘young professional’ planning to apply to the Vanguard Cabinet, a mid-career ‘seasoned mapper,’ or someone wanting to learn more, please attend!
