Richmond, Va. – March 19, 2014 Jackson County, Missouri hired Timmons Group to update their existing geospatial data framework into Esri’s Parcel Fabric / Local Government Model and Production Mapping Extension. The County’s 3rd party tax parcel maintenance software was no longer supported by Esri making a modernized approach necessary.

Jackson County is a thriving community in the greater Kansas City area consisting of approximately 675,000 citizens. The County selected Timmons Group based on their diverse skillset and decades of expertise with similar projects involving the migration to utilize Esri’s Parcel Fabric, Local Government Model conversions, and Production Mapping solutions. This effort included the necessary data model development, ETL processing, scripting and Geoprocessing, and Production Mapping (Workflow Manager, Task Assistant Manager, and Data Reviewer) configuration and training. Timmons Group worked successfully with the County to migrate from their legacy NovaLIS / ACS Parcel Editor to Esri’s toolsets. This modern solution adhered to best practices and best fits the County's need to provide accurate and precise information to internal and external customers.
